Hi, I am Sameksha!
Based in Delhi, India, I am a recent graduate of Product Design from NID, Ahmedabad. As a designer, I lead with both logic and intuition, finding strength through my emotions and constantly strive to be better. My inclination towards design stems from an early love for stationery and electronics, and an obsession to collect cute objects.
Before graduating, I chose to take a short career break, where I took some time to reflect on my journey so far and work at some personal projects to better shape my design philosophy. I am now ready to embark on new adventures!
Apart from design, I love listening to an ungodly amount of music, and almost never leave the house without my headphones. On the weekends I would either be curled up with a book, painting, or listening to a true crime podcast. I believe being my authentic self has a positive, almost spiritual impact on my work.
What do I do?
My work focuses on Industrial design, Interaction design and multi-disciplinary collaboration. I like to deliver solutions with a systemic and strategic approach, designing with the intent and the user in mind to create well rounded interventions. I don't like restricting myself to just one discipline or skillset and love constantly learning new skills and software to optimize my workflow.
Why design?
Considered "creative" ever since I was little, an interest in art might have started this journey, but I am learning just how much more there is to design. From creative coding to prosthetics using computational design, the amount of potential design has in changing the world for the better is unfathomable. It is a profession that keeps inspiring me everyday.
